Travel Keepsake Box

Hi WRMK fans! It’s me, Sandra, with a fun Travel Keepsake Box inspiration. Today we are going to create a super-easy and pretty travel memory project. The box is decorated with layered butterflies. And it can be used to hold beach finds, photos, and travel memoriables. Turn an ordinary box into a beautiful piece of decoration.

First, grab a patterned paper from the Round Trip Collection by Maggie Holmes, and the Specialty Paper from the Sweet Rush Collection by Vicki Boutin. You will also need the Nesting Punch Butterfly to create layered butterflies for the cover.

Second, punch about 20 butterflies from the papers with the Nesting Punches Butterfly. Make sure to punch butterflies in all three sizes. Third, create layered butterflies with a stapler (or liquid glue).

Fourth, grab a box and attach the layered butterflies onto the cover with foam pads. And now fill your box with shells, photos, and other travel memories.

To punch the butterflies from the Specialty Paper, just leave the paper inside the foil packaging and punch the butterflies. This will help you to create clean punched butterflies.
