Hello, We R friends! Tessa Buys here. I love the season of gratitude that November ushers in. Do make myself a little more mindful of expressing gratitude this month, I created a wreath that hangs on my front door:
I wrapped a straw wreath form in a chunky, multi-colored yarn. I then chose solid colors of regular yarn that coordinated and made several yarn pom poms with the DIY Party Pom Pom Makers. I have now used the Pom Pom Makers several times and I just love how easy they are to use!
I attached the yarn pom poms, as well as some felt flowers that I made, to the wreath with hot glue. I cut out some felt leaves by hand and attached them with hot glue, as well.
Last, I used the Mini Alphabet Punch Board to punch the word “thanks” out of Bazzill gold mylar paper. I punched holes in the letters with my Crop-a-dile and strung the letters on gold ribbon. I attached the garland with more hot glue.
I loved sitting down with warm, cozy yarn on a rainy fall day to make this wreath. The sweater-like feel of the wreath just hollers “autumn”, and the “thanks” garland is a great reminder to be thankful and express gratitude throughout the season.
Thanks to WRMK for tools that made the process of creating a wreath so easy and enjoyable! If you give a wreath of your own a go, happy creating!
