Hello there We R fans, Wendy Antenucci here today sharing a mini book I created. I have always wanted to take the time to do a 30 day of Thankfulness book with my kids, thanks to the Cinch this year we will be documenting what we are thankful for.
I knew for this project I wanted somewhere to write our thanks and I also wanted to include pictures of different items/people that we are thankful for. I also knew since my kids were going to be helping that it needed to be a simple concept for all ages. I began by choosing two 4×6 sentiment cards from the Wildflower collection and the High Five collection that best shared the vision of this book.
To share some written thoughts I chose to cut down the Typecast notepad to a 4×4 size. On each note paper piece I included a sticker from the Wildflower collection to add some color and interest. I also included a few 3×4 sentiment cards that would help focus our thanks for that day.
I used the 4×4 waterfall photo sleeves for my pictures; by turning the photo sleeve I was able to cinch the longer end into my book allowing photos to be added in easily as we progress through the book.
Designer tip: To keep a mini album do able for a family, keep it simple! Add in a few stickers for interest/color, but keep most items flat so that the album is more durable for little hands.
Our little book is ready, so we are ready to focus on being Thankful together as a family! Did you assemble a gratitude book this year? Have you made a fun mini album lately? Don’t forget to share what you create on the We R Memory Keepers FB, we’d love to see!
