The Albums Made Easy journaling card sets designed by Teresa Collins are perfect for just about any event or occasion you might be documenting. But did you know she also designed four gorgeous coordinating 12×12 albums? The Hello Life album and Quoted journaling cards were perfect for creating this senior year scrapbook.

To create the flap for the cover page I used a leftover portion of a 12×12 pocket photo sleeve that I cut in half from this project, filled it with photos and journaling cards, and then attached it to the full 12×12 page protector using a strip of Gold Metallic Washi Tape along the front and back of the seam between the two.
I added some pattern filler cards to the back, but you can add more photos or journaling too.

I added some hand stitched details using the new Sew Easy templates and black Sew Easy Glitter Floss.
I pulled some stickers and papers from the Teresa Collins Hello Life 12×12 Page Kit to supplement the journaling cards. Neutral and Cool Enamel Shapes made perfect little accents to add more detail to the page.
It was easy to create the cover page by arranging the journaling cards and photo in a loose grid design. I cut the title with my Cricut machine.
I cut the butterfly from Sheer Metallic gold textured cardstock using the new Monarch Shape Die and my Evolution.
I love that Teresa’s journaling card kits include some unique specialty cards, such as this clear acetate card. I like to leave some of them transparent in my albums–it looks pretty cool!
