Hi, We R Memory Keepers friends, Laura here today to share with you a fun idea for party decor using the new Template Studio Bow Guide. You can make it in any color or pattern to match your party decor. I think it would be perfect for a little girls party, a bridal shower, or a baby shower. I made mine in gold so it will match almost any theme.
To start, you will use the Template Studio to create a large size bow with the Bow Guide. Align the Template Studio guides to cut your large piece of poster board. You will cut three pieces – A, B and C – and each one will be 6” x 20”. Next, you will use the Bow Guide to cut the corners off each A and B piece. Line up the edge of your paper at the 14” mark. Then align the left side of the Bow Guide at the 8” mark. Using the cutting blade, make your cuts. You will do the same cut for all four corners of both pieces.
For piece C, you will align the paper on the 4” mark and use the cutting blade to cut out the middle on each long side.
Then center the short side vertically with the 14” measurement and cut out either end.
To assemble the bow, apply adhesive on one inside edge of the A and B pieces. Fold the ends over onto each other to create two bow shapes.
Then, apply adhesive to each end of the two bow pieces. Attach to the center of paper C. Note: I found the Double-Sided Super Sticky Tape to work the best to adhere the glitter posterboard. Last, you will cut a piece that is 1.5” x 5”. Wrap this around the middle of the bow and adhere on the back side. Use the Alphabet Punch Board and the Kraft and Gold 3 x 5-inch paper pad to create the word “PARTY”. Attach the letters to the bottom of the bow using monofilament line, twine or ribbon and regular tape.
I think this pretty party decor wall hanging is so fun and festive! It would look great on the front door welcoming your guests to your party.
