Hello everyone! Eva Pizarro on the blog today sharing a layout made from start to finish with the Fuse Tool and the FUSEables Collection
In the FUSEables collection you can find a card kit (See my previous post using this kit) and also a paper pad and some die cuts. I used these last two to create a confetti shaker title in minutes!
I started by cutting my title with my die cut machine. You could also use the Evolution Advanced and your dies! The paper cuts perfectly!
Before making your shaker letters make sure you use your Typecast Typewriter to include some journaling. The FUSEables paper runs perfectly on the typewriter as well! Just make sure you let the ink dry before touching it with your hands.
To make your title, layer some patterned paper and some plastic from a page protector behind your page, hold everything in place with some washi tape and use your Fuse Tool to seal all the edges. Leave a small opening on top to fill the letters with confetti later.
To fuse that many layers of paper you will need to go slowly and apply a bit of pressure.
Fill your letters and seal the top of your title.
Decorate the rest of your layout with some embellishments from the FUSEables Ephemera Pack and some strips of patterned paper.
I love the marks that my Fuse leaves on the paper! They look like machine stitches!
If you want you can decorate on top of your page protector too, like the little heart I added on my “O”
The journaling turned out great! Finally I can type directly on my 12 x 12 paper!
Have you used the FUSEables collection before? I am sure you are going to love it!
Have a great day!
