Nancy here today with a closer look at the Square Punch Board. This nifty little tool can create squares from 4” down to .75”. It is a quick and easy way to create dozens of squares (and rectangles too!) for all of your craft projects.
The grid is a design aesthetic I find myself drawn to over and over again. I love clean lines and repetition of shape. What better way to do that than using the Square Punch Board and some cardstock for a splash of color.
Now let’s take a look at how to create these ombre squares. Use the Square punch board to create a base measuring 3×3 with the darkest colored cardstock. Punch subsequent squares deducting ½” using colored cardstock in lighter and lighter shades. Stack the squares together in one corner and adhere.
Next, use the leftover cardstock and Sprinkle Punch to create some fun confetti!
The Square Punch Board is perfect for not only creating ombre squares but also for creating a confetti pocket. This one is placed right in the center of the layout while the leftover confetti is sprinkled on top.
Here is a closer look the ombre squares. The cascading shape and shades make for an interesting and easy embellishment to create!
Thanks so the Square Punch Board, creating a grid design is a simple and beautiful thing!
