Hello We R Fans! Kimberly here with a card-saving tip for you with the We R Memory Keepers Precision Press Advanced! I will be the first to admit that I have issues lining stamps and dies up, often ruining my die-cut piece, or even my whole card. Not good! Keep reading to find out how to never ruin a card again!
I die cut a heart image from Pebbles patterned paper and knew that I wanted to stamp the “love you” sentiment from Vicki Boutin in the center. To make sure everything lined up perfectly, I placed the heart on my Precision Press Advanced base, securing it with the magnets included with the tool. Then I lined up the stamp image exactly where I wanted it on the heart. (Make sure to do this with the stamping portion of the image face down. So you can read the words.)
Place the clear plate over the top and push down. This will pick up the image and affix it to the platform. Now, when you go back after your image has been inked, the pegs on the base will assist you with perfect placement. Every.single.time!
The best part about this perfect alignment also helps fix inking mistakes! I did not get enough ink on a part of my image, but no worries, because I added the ink and re-stamped! And you cannot tell! Whew!
I added a few more hearts to my Valentine’s Day card. They needed a little more detail, and I immediately thought of the Stitch Happy Pen! How cute is that stitching detail on the middle of the hearts?
So who is excited for perfect stamping on every card?!
