Hello We R Memory Keepers fans! Soraya here today to share a birthday party theme decor using the amazing Foil Quill! I’m so excited to show you another way of using this fantastic tool : with adhesive vinyl!
First of all, you will need navy blue adhesive vinyl by DCWV and Champagne foil in the Foil Quill collection. Place the vinyl on your cutting mat and use the scrapper Basic Tool to flatten it. Then place the foil sheet on the vinyl, make sure it is completely flattened and stretched, then secure it down using the placement tape. Here is another tip: use the mini rotaty cutter to cut the foil!
Grab the A adaptator if you work on a Silhouette machine like me and screw the Standard Tip inside. Plug the tip to a power bank and wait five-ten minutes until it heats. Place the cutting mat in your Silhouette then you’re ready to launch the foiling and cutting process!
I used the pretty designs in one of the five USB drives and went with the moon, stars and planet! In my Silhouette Studio software, I first choose the designs then made the contours to cut them all.
And the magic happened! Look how shiny and bright the Champagne Foil is on the blue navy adhesive vinyl! Love the contrast!
I also used the Alphabet Punch Board to create a “To The Moon And Back” banner.
And voilĂ ! Welcome to the Outer Space Party! Love how the Foil Quill adds so much light and sparkling accents to the birthday party!
The yummy Outer Space cupcakes are made with a new food crafting kit “Homemade with Love” by American Crafts! You can find them at Michael’s Stores. The kit includes: frosting and batter mix, instructions, cupcake liners and cupcake toppers!
Hope you had fun joining me today for this fun project! Happy creating everyone and until next time!
Soraya.
