Hey there We R friends, Laura here today. Many of you probably don’t know this, but my family is moving! We are planning on staying in our little town in northern Arizona, but we are actively looking for a new home. Buying and selling homes require a lot of moving and working parts. Keeping track of everything can be tricky. Today, I am sharing how I am using the Journal Studio line to document and plan for our new home.
The entire Journal Studio line is so functional. You really have everything you need to journal or document on the go. I found some papers I love from the Jen Hadfield My Bright Life line.
I trimmed some of my favorites down to 6” x 6” to fit in the clipboard of the travel workspace. This way, they would be ready for on the go crafting. I trimmed one of the papers with houses on it using my mini trimmer.
I embellished the page using die cuts, washi tape, and the alphabetic magnetic stencils.
The next set of pages I wanted to create after the title page, was a dream wish list for the new house. Again, I used my mini trimmer to cut down the adorable bird paper to fit. The stickers and die cuts are all from the Journal Studio line, as well.
I have fun little bits and pieces I can use in my journal tucked away in the embellishment storage container. Inside it holds paper clips, decorative brads, flowers, clips, interchangeable stamps, and more! And it fits in the palm of my hand which is perfect for tossing in bag.
After I had decorated the page, I wrote down what our dream wish list would be if would could get everything we want in a house.
I plan to include any other lists we may have about buying the new house – forms or paperwork needed for the realtor, a vision board for decorating the rooms in the house, new paint colors, plants I will want to add outside – to name a few ideas I have swirling around in my head.
We have found a house that comes close to having everything on this list, and we are crossing our fingers we will be moving in the next few months!
