Make Polaroid-Style Cards with the Retro Corner Chomper

Hello crafty friends, Lucile here for a new tutorial! Today I’m going to show you how to make holiday cards with Retro Corner Chompers. I love taking pictures with my Polaroid, it gave me the idea to make these cards.

To make these cards, I used the Hey Santa collection from Crate Paper. To start, I cut a rectangle out of a paper from the collection. I decorated the corners using my Retro Corner Chomper. Then I used a Polaroid shape die and for my second card I cut it myself. To make it stand out, I pasted it on tracing paper. I used my Corner Chomper to cut out the angles. It highlights my tracing paper.

I realized the inside of my cards. I used my cutting machine to cut out a sweater silhouette. I wanted to create Christmas sweaters. I stuck different washi tape on my sweaters to create jacquard patterns.

To add depth to my cards, I used 3D foam squares of different thicknesses.

Finally, I decorated my cards by adding a word with the phrase stickers from the Hey Santa collection and I added a character.

I hope this tutorial will make you want to make polaroid cards for the holidays with the Retro Corner Chomper. See you soon for a new creation.
