Hello We R fans! Kimberly here and it has been awhile since I shared a quick tutorial. So as I was using my We R Memory Keepers Precision Press Advanced the other day, I realized that I HAD to share this quick tip that will change your stamping on coordinating die cuts world! Line your stamped images up inside their matching die cuts perfectly with these tips. I know I need all the help I can get with this!
This beautiful butterfly image is from Vicki Boutin’s Field Notes line. With this lovely image, I knew I needed to not only use it, but make it the star of my card.
Using the coordinating die, I would be able to pop the butterfly up off my card and let it shine.
I started by die cutting the butterfly from card stock. It does not matter where in your paper you cut it. I used the edge to get more use of my paper on another project.
Place your negative piece (the left-over) inside the Precision Press Advanced. The location does not matter. Secure the paper in place with the magnets.
Set the stamp (flat side up) inside the opening. The clear stamp makes it easy to see through the die cut opening, allowing you to quickly line up the edges all the way around the stamp.
Place the clear top of the Precision Press Advanced over the paper and stamp and press down. When you press down, the stamp will cling to the clear plate.
Take the clear top off and place the die cut card stock back inside the negative space.
Ink your image, place the clear plate back on the press, and push down. Because the stamp was lined up with the Precision Press Advanced, each of your impressions will come out perfectly! You could stamp hundreds of these beautiful butterflies with no mistakes!
Will you use this tip the next time you need to line up a stamp and die cut?
