Hello We R Fans! Soraya here today to share a cool tutorial for you to make your own Traveler’s Notebook using the All In One Tool and some other amazing tools from We R Memory Keepers!
To make the cover, use the Trimmer to cut a paper sheet with the following size : 9 ½ inches x 8 ¼ inches. This will be the size of the cover, you can use it as a template.
Cut 2 pieces of clear vinyl using the cover template, adding about 1 inch allowance all around the edges. As the vinyl can sometimes be a bit bumpy , use your heatgun and a scraper to flatten it.
On your Fuse mat, place one piece of vinyl, spread some glitter on it (avoiding the edges) then place the other piece over to close it up.
Fix the vinyl pieces on the mat with tape. Place the cover template on it and use your Fuse Tool to seal all around the edges. You can help the process with a Fuse ruler! Then make sure everything is well sealed.
Use the All in One Trimmer to cut off the excess vinyl and you have the cover almost done!
Take another sheet of paper to create the template for the inner pages: 9 inches x 8 ¼ inches. With the Trimmer and the Score Board of the All In One Tool, cut 9 pages and score them in the middle.
Cut and score a sheet of kraft paper (9 ¼ x 8 ¼ inches) and place all the white pages inside, one inside another.
Create the little holes inside the insert to create the spine. The new Crop-A-Dile Multi Punch is perfect for that! Then use a needle and a thread to go through the holes and tie a knot inside the insert.
Place the cover all along the Score Board and check the middle of it. Add about half an inch on both sides and mark 2 points. Use the Crop-A-Dile to place 2 small eyelets.
To place the eyelet in the middle : first use a ruler to mark the middle (I used the Mini Supreme Ruler). Use a paper piercer to create the hole, place the eyelet and fold the cover. Now use the Crop-A-Dile to fix it all!
Take 1 meter of thin black elastic and with the cover upside down :
– pass it through the first eyelet
– then to the one on the right
– pass the first part of the elastic through the bottom holes (left)
– and through the right one
Then tie a knot inside the TN and cut the excess of elastic.
Tie a knot with the 2 pieces left and pass them throught the middle hole so that the knot is inside the TN. Place the insert on each elastic inside the TN (the elastic has to be in the center of each insert).
Make a goreous bow with pink satin and the bow maker you have on the All in One Tool! First place the posts on the board (D and G) then make the bow around them. I love how neat it is! Cut the excess ribbon off and place it on the elastic of the TN. You can also add a resin cute charm!
And voilà, your beautiful TN is ready to be filled with your stories!
I hope you had fun joining me today! How cool is the All In One Tool? You can basically make everything you want with it, this is so clever! And why not use the stamping press to customize each page? I definitely need to do this.
Have fun creating everyone and until next time!
