With St. Patrick’s Day coming I always try to get my kids involved in some crafting. They love to get into the Irish spirit! This year we decided to make some fun Leprechaun photo props.
My girls and I picked out and die cut some fun shapes from Game Day patterned paper using my Cricut machine. I love that the Game Day collection includes plenty of generic patterns in addition to the sports themed ones. We made a hat, a mustache…
…a bow tie, and Leprechaun hair with a beard.
We hot glued them to some bamboo skewers–I trimmed the sharp ends off before hand. Tip: I added some strips of chipboard to the back of the hat and the hair+beard props to keep them from flopping over when holding them upright.
Not only were these props fun to make, but they made adorable photos for some future scrapbook pages. These would also be fun for a St. Patrick’s Day party. You could photograph your guests, print the photos, and send them home with a memorable party favor.
