Hello We R fans! It’s Eva on the blog today, sharing a tutorial on how to create cute party favors using the new Revolution.

Whenever I have an event I made this kind of favors. They look cute all together in a basket and you can fill them with whatever you want.
To create the favor, start by cutting a 4 inch x 5,5 inch piece of paper with the Premium Paper Trimmer . You can use patterned paper or cardstock.

Using the Revolution, emboss the paper with your favorite design. I am using the Shimelle embossing folder, which has a lovely circular design.

Next, use your Freestyle Foil Quill Pen to write a message or your recipient’s name with gold foil. To make sure the name fits on the banner, place it over the foil and press hard until the die leaves a small mark.

Using the die and stamp set from Vicki Boutin, stamp a flower on one of the patterned papers. You can stamp the flower on watercolor paper and then paint it too!

Now it is time to use your Revolution! Place the papers on the mat and your dies on top. The mat is magnetic so the dies won’t shift while you are prepping and cutting! You will have perfectly aligned cuts every time!

Use your weeding tool to remove your designs from the die.

To assemble the favor, roll the paper and use the Hot Glue Gun to close it. Next, bend one end and glue it. Finally, fill the favor with whatever you want and then press the other side on the opposite direction.

Using your Crop a Dile, punch holes on the favor and in the banner.

The last step is to glue your flowers and leaves to the favor. I used the Hot Glue Gun and it was very fast!

Now my favors are ready! Aren’t these cute? I love the texture of the embossed paper.

Thanks for joining me today!
Have a great day,
