Hello We R friends! It’s Aly Dosdall here with you again. Now that Christmas is over, I’m excited to start the new year and set some goals. To help keep track of my goals, tasks, and ideas I created a 2020 Planner with some of my favorite We R tools.
My favorite part of the “Make It Happen” 2020 Planner is the cover that I made with the Etch Quill and my Silhouette Cameo 3. I used the 4×6 inch acetate sheets that come with the Etch Quill Kit and some art from the Heidi Swapp Foil Quill USB Design Drive. I bound my planner together with The Cinch binding tool. Tip: remember to leave at least a 1/2 inch margin along the left edge for binding.
I placed a 4×6 piece of dark pink solid cardstock behind the etched plastic sheet to add some contrast for visibility. I also added a strip of patterned paper and a few stickers from the Dear Lizzy New Day collection.
For the inside pages, I trimmed down some plain lined paper to 4×6 inches, and made some patterned paper dividers with The Works All In One Tool.
I added some pockets that I made with the Pocket Maker Punch Board to the dividers to hold loose papers and ephemera.
I punched and bound the covers and all the inside pages with The Cinch binding tool and some new blue Cinch Wire. Then I added a tassel from the Dear Lizzy New Day collection to finish it off.
I love how my 2020 Planner turned out, and I’m excited to get off to a great start in the new year. Thanks for stopping by, and happy crafting friends!
