Hello everyone! It’s Eva here showing you how to use your Stitch Happy sewing machine to make a lovely Paper Wall Hanging.
I love fabric projects but I have to admit I am not an expert seamstress, I feel more confortable using paper and I love that my Stitch Happy Machine makes the job really easy!
To make my banner I trimmed my paper in a crest shape and added the little hearts made with felt from the Stitch Happy Card Kit. The machine is strong enough to sew it to paper!
Next I added a cloud shape made with a lovely embossed cardstock from Bazzill and stitched all around with the gold thread. On top of my cloud I added a phrase with thickers and the Stitch Happy had no trouble sewing it to two layers of paper. Just go slowly!
To hang my Paper Wall Banner I folded the paper on the top and sewed 2 straight lines. The machine has a guide so you don’t have to worry about getting your lines all crooked.
I also used the pink thread to make a border and used the scalloped stitch on the bottom.
To decorate my Paper Wall Banner I made some pompons using the DIY Party Pom Pom Maker and some cotton yarn.
I hung three different colored pompons on one side and braided the rest of the yarn.
With the Stitch Happy Machine you can easily sew paper, cardtstock, felt, wood venners and even leather! The threads are thick so they really stand out on your projects.
Thank you so much for joining me today! Wall Hangings are very cute and easy to do, they are definitely a great Christmas Gift for children and teens.
Have a great day!
