Hello We R Fans! Kimberly here with a simple, lovely, and super fun project! When it’s time to start filling the holiday countdown calendar, I always include a Bible verse for the day, a small treat, an everyone so often, a gift. The gift might be a book, a fun pen or pencil, and on the last day, a special ornament. I have a small calendar in a box, but it is not big enough. So, as I looked at the We R Memory Keepers Gift Box Punch Board and the gorgeous papers from DCWV, I got an idea. An idea to create small boxes for each of the days!
In the DCWV Frosty Holiday 6×6 Mat Stack are some gorgeous papers! I chose a glittered paper and a holographic printed paper. Perfect for adding a little sparkle! Using the We R Memory Keepers Gift Box Punch Board, I quickly created small and large boxes. The smaller boxes are made from a 6×6 inch piece of paper, and the larger one from a 12×12 inch piece. The instructions for creating the boxes are printed right on the punch board-love that!
Seriously, it took me about 5 minutes to assemble these boxes. Choosing a paper took longer! Making a bunch of these will be a breeze!
After assembling the boxes, I decided to add numbers to each box. I used the Mini Alphabet Punch Board and the same papers to add numbers.
I love this idea, it’s a lovely project, that is handmade. And with the awesome tools from We R Memory Keepers, you will still have time to enjoy the holidays with your family, the most important part!
