Hello, We R fans! Christmas will be here in no time! Lots to do, especially when it comes to holiday crafting. Today I’m sharing a set of cards that is perfect if you’re looking for a fun and easy way to send season’s greetings.
The Happy Jig is all you need to make an impact, and wow the recipients with your cards. Once you have all the pegs set up on the board, creating sentiments or shapes goes rather quickly.
I started by trimming all the individual pieces from the new DCWV Farmhouse Christmas Premium Stack. I wanted my cards to be simple, so I just layered several patterned papers, making sure to use foam adhesive in between for more dimension.
For the first card, I used the Banner Punch Board to create two banners, which I then machine-stitched together. I used my Stitch Happy Sewing Machine to create a border around the card panel, and give it a bit of interest and finished look.
I added stickers from the same collection before hand-stitching the “merry” sentiment in place. I love the variety of colored wire I can choose from – this red one is perfect for Christmas!
The second card features different patterns, as well as a beautiful, festive 3×4 card that I placed right on top.
I decided to go with “Joy” for my sentiment.
As in the first card, I machine-stitched around the patterned paper for texture, and hand-stitched the wire word in place. Some twine wrapped around the panel finished the card.
I hope you enjoyed reading about my process, and feel inspired to use the super fun Happy Jig for your next Holiday cards.
Thank you for stopping by!
