I’ve got one last Father’s Day gift idea to share with you today. This one’s for the man in your life that loves to eat out–use the Hamburger Box Template Die to create a gift card holder for Dad.
The template die comes with three sets of double nesting die shapes you can use for labeling your box. Love that nesting label dies are included–perfect for matting!
After creating my box (but before adding the border around it) I added a gift card for my hubby’s favorite restaurant. The sentiment I chose for the outside of my box is a fun little play-on-words related to the gift card. =)
Here’s a little tip for folding the box once you die cut the paper with the template die: valley fold each corner of the top and bottom of the box, hot glue the corners together, and then hot glue them against the inside of the box so they don’t interfere with opening and closing the box. (A valley fold means the middle of the three score lines points downward when folded, and the outer two score lines point upward like the letter “M”.)
Enjoy, and I hope you have a wonderful weekend celebrating Dads!
