Hello, We R friends! Tessa Buys here, and today I’m sharing a the Halloween pillow boxes I made for my kids using the Template Studio:
First, I chose which designer poster boards I would use – black glitter and black and white stripes. I also gathered American Crafts Bootiful Night embellishments and a piece of yellow mylar paper by Bazzill.
Next, I followed the easy instructions for creating four of the smallest pillow boxes.
I added a special touch by using the new circle Clear-Cut Punch to create a “moon” on the front of the black glitter pillow boxes. It was so easy to line up the punch exactly where I wanted it.
I cut a square of the mylar paper and hot glued it to the back of the punched out circle. Then I assembled and glued the rest of the pillow box.
To embellish this All Hallows Eve box, I hot glued Bootiful Night die-cuts around my punched moon and secured flair to the front with a little bit of whispy, silver thread. Star stickers finish off the spooky scene.
This Happy Halloween box is embellished with a Bootiful Night cobweb, more flair and thread, and die-cuts.
Here I created a scene by adhering a haunted house beneath the mylar moon. Some stickers and flair finished it up.
Trick or Treat says the skull, embellished by stickers and more flair.
I had a lot of fun making these pillow boxes and my kids can’t wait until I fill them up with Halloween treats. Are you gifting treats this Halloween? Pull out your template studio and make some easy-fun boxes! Happy crafting!
