Hello We R Memory Keepers fans! Soraya here with you today to share a new tutorial for a graduation party favor using some of my favorite tools!
To make this little cute graduation box, I used the wonderful 1-2-3 Punch Board that I LOVE ! The possibilities are endless with this board, above all when it comes to creating party favors! As this box measures 3 ¼ inches so the paper had to measure 10 inches (according to the instructions on the board).
I also used the Clear Cut Punch to create a little window so we can see the marshmallows through it. Love this frame shape and this punch is very easy to place thanks to the magnetic system! The window is made out of a little waterfall photo sleeve that I glued with the USB Power Tool Mini Glue Gun.
Now that the box is finished, I played with my Happy Jig and some rose gold wire to make the word “yay”. I followed the instructions in the book to shape the “y” and the “a” like in the “happy” word.
Now it’s the fun part to fill the box with yummy marshmallows!
We now have to make the hat and tassle part to finish the graduation favor! The steps are very easy and the result is awesome! I cut a 4 ¼ inches square paper with my Trim & Score Board and another one in a light white cardboard with my Supreme Ruler and Precision Knife. I glued them together.
Using the Crafter’s Essential Tool I made a hole in the middle of the cardboard and passed through some blue thread. I tied a knot then attached the tassle on it.
Add some embellishments and voilĆ ! The graduation party favor box is done!
I hope you had fun joining me today. Happy creating everyone and until next time!
Soraya.
