Gift for the end of school by Lucile Peignon

Hello crafty friends, Lucile here! Today I have for you a new DIY! I am a teacher and I wanted to create a gift to thank my students for the great year spent with them. I created rosettes with congratulatory messages. For this DIY I used the Button Press (available at JOANN Stores) and rosette backer from We R Memory Keepers.

First, I chose three papers from the School Time block of papers. In my first paper I cut a rectangle to the size of the large Button Press dies. Then I inserted the cutout plates into the Button Press and cut out my circle.

I placed the large insert dies in the machine then I added the elements of my badge to secure it.

To decorate my badge, I cut some elements from my papers. I cut out a princess and two messages of encouragement. I left a white border around my cutouts to make them look great on my pink paper.

When I assembled my badge, I did not put on the mylar sheet. This allowed me to add dimension to my decorations using 3D foams. When I was satisfied with the result of the decoration, I fixed my badge on my rosette holder.

I made several rosettes with different decorations and different papers and using the same technique. I love the result, it’s very cute!

I hope you enjoyed this DIY and give you gift ideas for the end of school.
See you soon for a new creation! XOXO, Lucile.
