Gatefold Cards Using The Explosion Board With Jerodelle Trinidad

Hello!

Jerodelle here! I have a very quick and easy project for you today using the new Explosion Board! I created two gatefold cards in two different sizes.

These cards immediately remind me of spring with all the floral and butterflies! I will tell you how I created them in this post.

Step 1 – Cut 2 pieces of paper 8x4in and 12x6in – These will be your card bases.

Step 2 – Score 8x4in paper at the XXS line and rotate 180 degrees counterclockwise and repeat scoring.

Step 3 – Score 12×6 paper at the M line and rotate 180 degrees counterclockwise and repeat scoring.

Step 4 – Cut 2 pieces of patterned paper at 3x6in and one at 6×6 inch for larger gatefold card.

Step 5 – Cut 2 pieces of patterned paper at 2x4in and and one at 4x4in for small gatefold card.

Step 6 – Glue the panels on the card bases.

Step 7 – Punch the edges with WRMK edge punch for a decorative edge.

Step 8 – Create belly band ( to keep the cards closed ) with one inch strip of patterned paper and cut to size of the card.

Step 9 – Embellish your cards as you wish and you are all done!

Super easy right?! It was so quick to make as well and I hope you give it a try!

Let’s not let your creation go unnoticed! Make sure you take a photo with the ShotBox! It really makes a difference and captures colors beautifully!
