Hello everyone! It’s Eva on the blog today sharing a Father’s Day Decoration using some of my favorite We R tools
To create this décor I started by picking patterned paper. I love the vintage tones of the Sunny Days collection by Crate Paper so I choose some blues, a yellow and added a turquoise.
The first thing I did was create my garland. My used my Fringe and Score Board to score my paper every ½ inch. You can use your regular Score Board by I love the Fringe and Score because it can score 5 lines at a time. Super fast!
Next, I cut 6×6 inch squares, made accordions and bend them in the middle to create fans.
I glue some facing up and some facing down to create a garland.
Next, I worked on my glasses. I used my Foil Quill and the Heidi Swapp USB Drive to add the phrase “It’s your day” to vinyl.
If you want to add some inner lives to your design simply choose lines on the “Emboss” menu. You can edit spacing and angle on the lines. Before using the Foil Quill remember to hit the “Release Emboss” button.
Use some gold foil and the medium tip to foil your vinyl. Next, remove the Gold Foil and cut the edges with the blade. If you have a machine with just one tool be careful not to fully unload the vinyl or your cut may turn out in the wrong position.
Weed your vinyl and attach them to your glasses. The result is perfect!
I also created some flags for my paper straws. I used the Washi Chomper and that little tool perfectly cut 2 sheets of paper!
To decorate my muffins I made some bowties using my 1,2,3 Punch Board and some cupcake liners using the DIY Party Board. Easy and super cute!
Glue the bowties to some skewers and insert them to your muffins.
Once I was assembling everything I noticed I had some fans left so I added them to the table and it really help bringing everything together!
I also included a letter board with the “Dad, have a great day” phrase. I tried my best to stay in my color combination. That helps the décor feel cohesive and cute.
I hope you liked these decorations and that you can use them for your next party. Thanks for joining me to the end of this long post.
Have a great day!
