Hello We R Memory Keepers friends and fans, Becki here to share a layout that I created using three of my favorite We R Memory Keepers tools. I love the Stitch Happy sewing machine, the Typecast Typewriter, and the Frame Punch board. I find myself constantly reaching for these tools.
When Fall finally rolls around, I am giddy! I LOVE everything about Fall. It’s by FAR my favorite season. Scrapbooking about Fall is so much fun. I was thrilled to sit down and create a Fall themed layout. The first thing I did was create 4 frames with the Frame Punch Board. The frames are 4 inches square with a 1-inch border along the bottom. The frame punch board makes creating polaroid frames so easy!
Once the frames were finished, I added photos to two of them, a title in one of them, and journaling in the remaining frame. My Typecast Typewriter is my favorite way to write my journaling. My handwriting is so big and so loopy that I can’t fit handwritten journaling into small spaces on my layouts. Fitting journaling into small spaces is a perfect task for the Typecast Typewriter. I adhered the frames to a neutral piece of patterned paper for the background. I slightly offset the frames to create a little bit of interest.
When I had my frames in place I wanted to add a border along the top and the bottom of the layout. I cut small patterned paper strips and stitched them in place using the Stitch Happy sewing machine. I adore this machine! I love that it can stitch through several layers of paper and that it stitches with thicker thread.
Fall is on it’s way and I have a jump start on my Fall scrapbooking! I’m a happy girl! How will you document your Fall memories?
Thank you for stopping by the We R Memory Keepers blog. I’ll see you again soon.
