DIY Envelope Ring Mini Book

Hi crafty friends! Amber Mitchell here on the We R Memory Keepers blog today to share with you a fun and easy mini album that you can create using just one tool: the Envelope Punch Board.

This is a mini album that you can create in just one afternoon craft session, so, if you’re tight on time, you’ll love this design!

The covers of this album are created from two pieces of chipboard that measure 3.5 x 4.5 inches. I wrapped these pieces of chipboard using papers that measured 4.5 x 5.5 inches. To line the inside of my covers, I used papers that measured 3.25 x 4.25 inches.

The pages of this mini album are a mix of envelope pockets and specialty paper sheets. For my mini, I used five envelopes that measure 3 x 4 inches. I created these using the Envelope Punch Board. What’s great about creating your own envelopes, is that you can choose any size that fits your mini album needs; just be sure to adjust the measurements of the covers based on the size of your envelopes.

I added four sheets of 3 x 4 inch specialty paper in between the envelopes in my album to add fun texture and more interest.

To add the holes to my covers, envelopes, and specialty pages, I used the Crop-A-Dile. This tool is strong, which means it can punch through a thick material like chipboard or multiple pages with ease.

I added two holes to the left edge of my album, half an inch from the edge and an inch up from either end of the covers. I then used the covers as a guide to add matching holes to my five envelopes and four specialty pages.

You can find a video showing the process of assembling this album here:

I used the teal binger rings to hold my album together and I love how they popped against the pale yellow and pink shades I used on my cover. It’s such a fun contrast!

Once my mini album base was constructed, I embellished it using a bunch of fun bits and pieces and now it’s ready for all types of special summer memories!

Thanks for stopping by my post today! I hope you’ll give this quick and easy envelope mini album a try!
