Create a Planner with the Disc Power Punch

Hello friends! It’s Kylie with you all today and I have a really fun and easy project I have created with the new Disc Power Punch. Being such a planner girl, I had been searching for a monthly desk planner I could use for 2021. Thanks to the Disc Power Punch I have been able to custom create my very own planner and inserts!

I created my planner to be an A5 size which measures 5.8″ x 8.3″ inches or 148mm x 210mm. After sourcing some A5 printable inserts, all that was needed to do was create dividers for each month. I’ve used the super colourful and fun ‘Go The Scenic Route’ collection by Paige Evans. Thanks to the alingment guide, each punch I made on my dividers was perfectly and evenly spaced.

This tool will easily punch through a great variety of materials such as paper, cardstock, fabric, chipboard, tin and plastic! I found it so easy to punch through my paper inserts!

To protect the front and back, I also created a front and back cover from clear acetate. Once I had all my dividers and inserts in place on my pastel rings, it was time to add some ‘tip-ins’ into my planner. I love adding colourful journal or inspirational cards to my pages which I again lined up into the guard and created the disc punches. This style of punch makes it very easy to add or remove elements from your planner.

Another lovely personal touch you can add to the pages of your planner is some photos. I’ve created two dividers between each monthly spread which not only adds lots of colour to your planner but it also gives you space for adding all the extras!

I also created some punched tabs to add to each months page making it easier to find my place. Once completed, I loved how my new planner turned out AND how easy it was to create thanks to the Disc Power Punch!

So you can see the methods in how I have used the punch, I have also filmed a short video…

Thanks so much for stopping by the blog today! I hope my project has inspired you a little to give the Disc Power Punch a try!
