Hi, WRMK fans! It’s Bea here and I have a new layout to share with you today! National Scrapbook Day is here and what else could be better to celebrate this occasion than creating a fun and creative layout! My idea was to create small windows on my page and in the windows I wanted to feature my favorite techniques I use from time to time on my pages.
I started my process by creating the title. I grabbed my mini Alphabet Punch Board and followed the instruction to create the colorful letters. I spiced up some of the letters by adding an extra layer in a different color.
Next, I trimmed down three pieces of white cardstock paper into 2,5×7,25″ and marked the center line on the back of the papers. The magnetic mat of the Revolution Die Cutting Machine helped me to align the 2″ wide circle and heart dies on the papers and to cut out the little windows.
Now came the best part of the process, the embellishing! I backed every hole with different embellishment pieces, techniqes, or patterned paper pieces.
I featured watercolor background, layering, stitching, fussy cutting, tone-on-tone techniques as well as fringes or sticker background.
I hope you enjoyed my iNSD layout inspiration, and I encouraged you to create a layout to celebrate! Thanks for stopping by! Bea
