Happy Friday friends! We’re closing off Card Week with a special guest designer, Betsy Veldman! Betsy is a wife, a SAHM to three super kids and is addicted to her paper and scissors. She loves scrapbooking and papercrafting of all kinds and is an expert cardmaker and stamper. We’re thrilled to have her!
Betsy had the chance to play around with the Frame Punch Board and some elements from the Pebbles Girl Squad collection. Check out the beautiful card she created. We love all the yummy layers!
Here’s what Betsy has to say about her card:
“The Girl Squad collection is filled with my favorite colors…it’s so fun and happy! The Frame Punch board is an amazing (yet simple!) tool. I was impressed with how quick and easy it was to make frames of all sizes. I cut three frames from the Girl Squad patterned papers, starting with the same overall rectangle size, and just changing the width of the frame. I also cut the same size frames from plain cardstock — two of each size, then layered everything to create lots of dimension! I sandwiched some diecuts between the layers, and used one of the sentiment diecuts inside the smallest frame. For a fun finishing touch, I used the awesome striped washi tape from the Girl Squad collection around the edges of my stack of frames!”
Thanks for joining us for Card Week! We hope you enjoy World Card Making Day tomorrow, and that you get the chance to create some beautiful cards.
