Hey We R Memory Keepers friends and fans, Becki here to share with you an adorable Halloween card that I created with two of my favorite We R Memory Keeper tools, the Dial Trimmer and the Frame Punch Board.
The moment I started playing with the dial trimmer I loved the scalloped blade. I used the scalloped blade on several strips of patterned paper from the Pebbles Midnight Haunting collection.
Each strip of patterned paper has a scallop along the bottom edge of the strip. The scalloped strip was added with the scallop blade on the dial trimmer. After I had the scalloped strips cut, I used the Frame Punch Board to cut a four inch frame out of a black piece of patterned paper from the same Midnight Haunting Collection. Using a strong liquid adhesive, I layered the strips and adhered them to the back of the frame. Once the strops were in place, I ruffled the scalloped edges slightly to create a little bit of dimension and to make the scallops more noticeable.
Because I wanted the scalloped strips to stand out, I kept the embellishment to a minimum. I adhered a chipboard sentiment and a ghost die cut in the center of the frame with a strong liquid adhesive. Then, to finish things off, I added a few puffy stickers.
The card base for this card is created from patterned paper. The card front is five inches square with rounded corners. It was so easy to round the corners of this card with the Frame Punch Board.
Halloween is one of my favorite holidays. I can’t wait to share this card AND make more of them using the same design. Thank you for stopping by the We R Memory Keepers blog. I’ll see you again soon!
