Handmade gifts are always appreciated and what could be better to receive than an altered Desktop Calendar?
Creating this project is easy and doesn’t take a lot of supplies. I used stickers and patterned paper from the Hip Hip Hooray collection and altered a Maya Road Clear Acrylic Calendar. The chipboard tabs were easy to ink and embellish.
I chose inks that matched the collections to ink the chipboard around the edges.
Then I covered them with paper cut at 3 3/4 x 5 3/4. I used the 3’8 Corner Chomper to round the corners and adhered to the chipboard using adhesive.
Now you just have to add the calendar layered with colored cardstock and adhered with 3D foam squares. Finish by embellishing to suit your style.
Now you’re ready to package up your creation and give it to someone special.
What was a favorite handmade gift you’ve made and then given away?
