Hello everyone!  It’s Eva on the blog today sharing an easy Summer Mini Album made with some of my favorite We R tools.
This mini album is small but you can fit many pictures because it has pockets on all the pages. I used the “My Bright Life” collection from Pebbles Inc that it is perfect for everyday pages and mini albums.
To make the spine of your mini album use your Trim and Score Board to score a 4 inch tool paper every ½ inch, ½ inch and 1/8 of an inch. Repeat these 3 scoring guides for every page of the album .
Place glue on the ½ inch strips and attach all of them. You will attach your pages to these ½ inch papers.
To create your pocket pages trim your papers at 8 3/8 inch and score at 4 and 8 inch.
Glue your pages to your spine leaving the right side open.
Inside every pocket page your can include a journaling spot or a picture. To hold them a nice idea is to place tabs. I made mine with the Tab Punch Board and I bent the paper first to have a double tab.
Create the covers the same way you made your inside pages but make them a bit wider to cover all the inside tabs.
If your want to include a ribbon to close your album attach it inside the cover pages!
I tried my best to embellish tone on tone on all the pages using the My Bright Life die cuts and stickers.
Inside the pocket pages I placed journaling spots. To create the lines and make sure my ruler wouldn’t move I used my magnetic mat and ruler, I love the versatility of this tool! Use it to make straight lines, to cut with your craft knife of to trim the pages of your mini book!
Have you made a Pocket Mini Album before? Mine is the perfect size and I love that I can include as many photos as I want! All I need is to make the spine a bit larger!
Thanks for joining me and have a great day!
