These adorable backpack charms are SO easy to make with a few tools from We R Memory Keepers. I put my Photo Sleeve Fuse tool, the Mini Alphabet Punch Board and my trusty old Crop-a-dile to work when I created these charms.
The charms are made out of Fuse Instax waterfall sleeves. I did trim them down slightly after I fused the edges closed.
Each charm has a small piece of patterned paper, a few stickers, sequins, and my child’s initials cut out of patterned paper with the Mini Alphabet Punch Board.
The patterned paper and stickers that I used for this project are from the Lovely Day collection by American Crafts and Dear Lizzy. I love how the layered stickers look in those cute little shaker pockets.
I chose to punch holes in the corner of the backpack charms with the small punch on the crop-a-dile so that none of the sequins would fall out of the punched hole.
I can’t wait to tie these little charms onto my kids backpacks as they head out the door to start a brand new school year. I’m curious, what crafty back to school projects do you have planned. I’d love to hear about them!
Thank you for stopping by the We R Memory Keepers blog. I’ll see you again soon.
