A Month of Celebrations

Welcome to Birthday Month here on the We R blog!  All month long we’ll be sharing birthday inspiration–invite ideas, birthday layouts, birthday decor, birthday craft ideas–so be sure to stop by often.

Let’s kick things off with some easy storytime party invites for a child’s birthday.  Nursery rhymes and fairy tales are a great starting point for planning a unisex child’s party.  These invites are great for both boys and girls, and can be used as a bookmark once the party’s over.

Here’s a close up of the party details:

To create your own, simply grab some Storytime tags and then trim patterned paper blocks to 6 inches long, and slightly slimmer than the width of your tags.  Cut a “v” shape in the ends.

Place your adhesive at the end of the patterned paper and add the tags.  Print the party detail labels, fill them in, cut them out, and add them along with some brads and ribbon to embellish.

Come back next week and I’ll share a kids craft to go with these party invites.  Cheers!
