To Create the Mold:

  1.  Fill tree cookie cutter with undercut clay. This will allow the mold to form around the tree and not inside of the shape. Temporarily adhere to wood disc.
  2.  Use Mold Press to create mold.

If you would like to use the same mold for all three projects, we recommend working in the following order: Chocolate, soap, resin.

I’m Dreaming of a White Chocolate Christmas: Chocolate Sucker

  1. Melt a small amount of green chocolate for the tree portion of the mold according to the directions on the bag. (If you don’t have various colors, you can add a bit of food dye. Just make sure it is the same temperature as the chocolate!) Pour into mold until tree is filled. Let cool.
  2. Melt and mix white and blue Meltables to create the sky and the snow on the top and bottom of the remaining portion of the mold. Add lollipop stick making sure to cover it with chocolate. Let cool.
  3. To release chocolate from the mold, gently push it from the front until it pops out.
  4. Decorate as desired using melted chocolate in a piping bag to add detail. Add a small amount of gold Sweet Sugarbelle Edible Dust to finish.
  5. Place in a plastic bag and tie at the bottom, embellishing as desired and your chocolate is ready to be the cutest gift ever!

  2. Melt more soap base to fill the remaining portion of the mold. Add dye if desired and soap fragrance (pine or peppermint is great for the holidays!). Pour to fill mold. Let cool

Glitter All The Way: Resin Ornament

In this example UV Resin was used, but it is adaptable to two-part resins as well.

  1. Coat the mold with Mold Press Liquid Mold Release and let dry.
  2. Mix UV Resin with green Color Pour Color Changing Glitter to fill tree portion of the mold. Use a heat gun to remove any bubbles. Be very careful not to overheat as it may warp the mold.
  3. Set for 60 seconds with a UV Curing Light.
  4. Mix UV Resin with red Bright Foil Flakes and small white beads. Pour a thin layer over the entire mold. Again, use a heat gun to remove any bubbles.
  5. Set for 60 seconds with a UV Curing Light.
  6. Mix small amounts of UV Resin with white Transparent Dye, red Color Changing Powder, and gold Color Changing Powder. Pour in sections until mold is filled.
  7. Set for 60 seconds with a UV Curing Light.
  8. Pop the resin ornament out of the mold. The more shallow and/or domed the mold is, the easier it is to release. If you have having a hard time, you may have to cut your mold. Therefore, we recommend doing resin last!
  9. Drill a hold into the top of the resin and add twine.
  10. Add a little tag and your ornament is ready to be given!
