Happy Friday friends! I’m back to share the first week of my 15 Days of Gratitude journal/mini album. If you missed my post last week, you can CLICK HERE to see my cover page and for more details about this yearly project.
I love these Typecast Notebooks–they’re perfect for art journals, memory keeping, mini albums, and smash-style journals.
I added my Instax mini photos and some papers, journaling cards, tags, and labels from the Typecast Mint paper collection.
I kept the dimension on my pages to a minimum so that my journal will close and not be too bulky.
I stamped the date for each day with a Heidi Swapp roller stamp, and I typed my journaling on the Typecast cards and papers.
Some of the notebook pages have pockets with inserts where I journaled about the one thing I chose to be grateful for each day.
I used some washi tape from the Scotty Dog dispenser, and some shaped paper clips from the Oh Goodie collection.
I also included a few rub-ons from the new Photo Lights collection. I’m usually not a fan of rub-ons because they can be hard to work with, but these rub-ons went on so smoothly and easily.
Each page design is a bit different, but includes similar elements to maintain some continuity throughout the album.
It’s been awesome to focus on one thing I’m grateful for each day and write my feelings about it.
I look forward to continuing this project through Thanksgiving Day next week when I’ll be back with the rest of my album. See you then!
